Without a key (light use)

Returns JSON. Up to 40 new lookups per visitor per 10 minutes; IPs already looked up don’t count. Plain text: curl ipjudge.org/en/ip/8.8.8.8.

With an API key

Create a key under My account → API (sign-in required). The free plan covers 20 distinct IPs a day; repeat lookups of the same IP are unlimited. 401 for an invalid key, 429 when the daily quota is used.

Key fields: kind (res / isp / mobile / biz / dc / proxy / unknown), score (0–100), grade, native, country_code, asn, hits, relay (iCloud Private Relay), platforms (level and note for ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini / Muse), scenes, evidence. Rules: Method.

MCP (for AI agents)

Endpoint: https://ipjudge.org/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Add it to Claude Code in one line:

claude mcp add --transport http ipjudge https://ipjudge.org/mcp

Then just ask “can this machine’s exit use Claude?”. Tools:

• my_exit: verdict for the exit of the machine the agent runs on (what server- and terminal-based agents need)
• check_ip: any IP
• ai_availability: whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Muse officially support a country
• service_status: official status of Claude, OpenAI and more

Without a key the visitor limit above applies; with a key add --header "Authorization: Bearer ipj_YOURKEY" and the key’s quota applies.
